Case Study Snapshot: Hazardous Occupation Disability Insurance

A 33-year-old electrical linesman had been advised by friends and co-workers to seek out disability insurance in case he was injured on the job or became sick and unable to work and provide for his young family.  He was in great health but had been turned down for coverage from several domestic carriers due to the incredibly dangerous nature of his occupation.

An insurance advisor who knew the DI market well recognized the client needed sufficient financial protection for his $95,000 annual salary.  The advisor reached out to Petersen International for a Lloyd’s disability policy.

Petersen International was able to offer a $5,000 monthly benefit total disability policy to the client through the Disability Solutions product.
