With the college football season over, some players are making decisions either to enter the NFL draft or to stay in school for another year. There are now new, insurable opportunities to sell life and disability insurance to both professional prospects and returning student athletes.

Some of the players that are entering the draft now and are projected to sign very large contracts are starting to spend the money that they do not yet have. They are getting loans/lines of credit from banks and/or their player agents and are buying cars, houses, motorcycles, etc. We can insure both life and disability coverage to cover the loans/lines of credit that they are taking out. We can also provide our Draft Protection coverage to cover the contracts that they hope to sign.

For players returning to college for another year we can provide coverage through our Draft Protection Plan from now through the next draft in 2012. Most college players need to get a bank loan to pay for the premium of the Draft Protection Plan. Many of these banks now require life insurance, which can be covered by our Bank Loan Contingent Life Plan
